FlowFi vs Rounded for Australian sole traders
Rounded is Australian invoicing-and-expenses software made for freelancers. It is priced around $19.95 to $29.95 a month, includes bank feeds, and its strength is invoicing: quotes, recurring invoices, reminders and getting paid. Plenty of freelancers run their whole business admin through it and are happy.
FlowFi starts from the other end. Its core is turning an uploaded bank statement into categorised transactions, GST figures and a ready-to-copy BAS using AI, with invoicing, receipts, mileage and a cash-flow forecast around that. If invoicing is 80% of your admin and the BAS is a small job, Rounded is a strong fit. If the BAS and categorising are the part you dread, FlowFi is built for that.

Questions people ask
Is FlowFi’s invoicing as good as Rounded’s?
FlowFi invoicing covers the essentials: professional invoices, recurring invoices and automatic reminders. Rounded has spent years on invoicing and quoting and has more depth there. If invoicing detail matters most to you, compare the two on a real invoice.
Can I bring my Rounded clients and invoices across?
You can export from Rounded to CSV and keep it for your records. Clients are quick to add in FlowFi, and your bank statement carries the income history.
Why does FlowFi not have bank feeds?
By design. Upload only means no bank login is stored anywhere and FlowFi never connects to your money. It costs you about two minutes per account per month to export a statement.
