For accountants and bookkeepers

Sole trader clients who arrive with clean, BAS-ready books

You know the client: a good tradie, cleaner or consultant who does everything right except the bookkeeping, and turns up each quarter with a folder of bank statements and a shoebox of receipts. FlowFi is the software you point them at. They upload a statement, the AI categorises every line, flags GST and deductions, and prepares the BAS labels. You get a tax pack, or a seat in their account, instead of the shoebox.

The partner programme gives the practice a free Business account and $50 for every referred client who subscribes, paid quarterly by bank transfer. FlowFi does not lodge and does not give advice; that is your job, and it is the part clients are happy to pay for.

A free Business account

For the practice, at no charge: unlimited bank accounts, up to five users, AI insights and API access.

$50 per referred subscriber

Through the referral programme. The client keeps the standard give-a-month credit; the practice earns $50 instead of the month, paid quarterly by bank transfer.

Clients with clean data

Categorised, GST-coded, BAS-ready, and exported as a tax pack in PDF, CSV, Xero or MYOB format.

How it works

  1. 1

    Register and get your link

Tell us about the practice below. Greg sets up a free FlowFi Business account for the practice and sends you your referral link within two days.

  2. 2

Share it with the clients who do their own books

The ones who turn up at BAS time with a folder of statements. They sign up through your link, get 14 days of Pro free with no card, upload a bank statement and the AI categorises it.

  3. 3

Receive clean books, and $50 per subscriber

At BAS or tax time the client exports a pack in PDF, CSV, Xero or MYOB format, or invites you into their account. For every referred client who becomes a paying subscriber, the practice earns $50, paid quarterly by bank transfer.

What your clients get

  • A 14-day free Pro trial with no card, then $29 a month or $290 a year.
  • AI categorisation of every uploaded bank statement, with a confidence score and review of only the uncertain lines.
  • GST flagged per transaction, likely deductions marked, and every BAS label prepared to copy into ATO Online.
  • Tax Pot: what to set aside for tax each week from their real numbers, with optional super.
  • Invoicing with PDF and email, pay links and PayID, quotes, recurring invoices and opt-in chasing of late payers.
  • Receipts, mileage, a cash-flow forecast, and the referral programme’s standard "give a month, get a month" credit on their own referrals.

What you get

  • A free FlowFi Business account for the practice: unlimited bank accounts, up to five users, AI insights and API access.
  • $50 for every referred client who becomes a paying subscriber. The standard give-a-month credit still goes to the client; the practice earns the $50 in place of the month.
  • Payouts tallied each quarter and paid by bank transfer, with the list of subscribed referrals so you can reconcile it.
  • Clients whose data arrives categorised and BAS-ready, in a tax pack you can open in PDF, CSV, Xero or MYOB.
  • Live access to a client’s account when they invite you as a user on the Business plan, with Admin, Editor or Viewer roles.
  • Less time billing for sorting statements, more time on the advice that keeps clients.

Frequently asked questions

Does FlowFi replace me?

No. It replaces the shoebox. FlowFi does the bookkeeping layer: categorising transactions, working out GST, flagging deductions and preparing BAS labels. It does not lodge, does not give advice and does not know the client’s structure or history. Those stay with you, and the client arrives with clean data instead of a folder of statements.

Can I see my client’s data?

Yes, with their invitation. On the Business plan a client can invite up to five users with Admin, Editor or Viewer roles, so a practice can be given read access or editing rights to the file. On Pro, the client exports a tax pack in PDF, CSV, Xero or MYOB format with one click and sends it across.

How are payouts tracked?

Every signup through your link is recorded against your referral code in the client’s profile, and the reward is triggered when that client becomes a paying subscriber. Each quarter we tally the subscribed referrals, send you the list, and pay $50 per client by bank transfer. The client still receives the standard give-a-month credit on their own account.

What does it cost the practice?

Nothing. The Business account is free for the practice’s own use and there is no fee to join or minimum number of referrals. If you refer nobody, you have a free account. If you refer a client who subscribes, you have $50 and a client with tidy books.

Want to see it before you refer anyone?

Start a normal trial, upload one client-style statement (your own is fine) and look at the categories, the GST decisions and the BAS card. Then export the tax pack in the format you use.

Programme terms: the $50 is paid for each client who signs up through the practice's referral link and becomes a paying subscriber, tallied and paid quarterly by bank transfer. The Business account is provided free for the practice's own use. FlowFi is bookkeeping software; it does not lodge activity statements or returns and does not provide tax advice. Terms may change; current members are told before any change takes effect.
